Uganda
is a country dominated mainly by the Baganda unlike other tribes .The Bagandas
are a Bantu group of people who are farmers and speak the language Luganda which
is a Bantu language.
The staple food there is matooke and g.nut paste .it is
cooked by wrapping in banana leaves and boiling then you squeeze them and then
ready for consumption.
A King who together with his relatives that is the prince
and princesses are abalangira and the commoner’s bakopi rules Baganda. The
baganda men put on kanzus and the women gomesis. The women are supposed to kneel
down as the men seat on the chairs it is the work of the man to go and look for
the meat and the woman to cook care for the children and dig around
traditionally but it is fading out today due to the western culture.
The dances are many including nankasa a traditional
kiganda dance and others.
