And a few words from the Australian Students
Looking Ahead

Hi, we're from Australia. We're going to be hosting the 2^nd Youth Environmental Summit in 1999. There are 25 students in our delegation, from years 8,9,10 & 11.

We live in Rockingham in Western Australia, about 40 minutes from Pert, our states capital city.

A lot of people that haven't been in Australia have the wrong idea about what it is like. It's not just deserts or beaches and there probably aren't as many kangaroos as people may think there are. We hope to show everyone as much as we can in the time that we will have together so that they will get to know what our country is really like.

We hope everyone else is as excited as we are about meeting delegate students from other countries and creating new friendships with them.
